* Nipissing Area groups and sections interested in having one or two pictures from one of their activities posted on the Nipissing Scouting News website, should contact Scouter Ken Sitter. Photo releases are required for all pictures featuring youth members.
* Rendezvous organizers expect to confirm a site shortly for the annual Victoria Day Weekend event. A decision should be confirmed at the next committee meeting Tuesday, Jan. 13 at Trinity United Church.
* Nipissing Area’s annual winter troop camp is set to go, Feb. 27 to March 1, near the end of Songis Road. For more information, contact Scouter Gord Ford.
* On your Scouting calendar add:
- Oct. 3 Apple Day
- Oct. 24 & 25 Woodbadge I training at Camp Wilabosca near Sudbury. Note there will be no Woodbadge I training in Nipissing due to the proximity of this course.
